The Bacchanal Start..Band Launch, Island Elite

SOOOOOOO...OFF TO THE RACES!!!!

The Bacchanal start...first out the gate Island Elite...

Theyre going to Broward Carnival not MIAMI...GASP!! can you imagine???
[look no politics here...this is MY BLOG!! I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH ANY CARNIVAL... i am just used to Miami!!]

anyways...

Island Elite launches "Into the West at Big Fish" this weekend..

Of course Big fish is always ram with their faithful party goers..And who would blame them...The venue is open air...even though it was hot as hell that night....And we were seeing guys in long sleeve shirts at the Bar?? WHAT WRONG WITH THEM???

Anyways back to the story...Jono and them had body painting for their patrons.....just setting off the night.

The stage looked like a real sound stage...Overhead lights and stuff..

Me and the old girls didnt get to the party till one....with me hyperventilating because i was sure i would miss the reveal.

Thank god as soon as we walked in and got a drink..[ey that rude girl in the first bar will never see my money again]..and tried to maneuver to where we usually hang....body guard type man says [WAIT ...that wasnt no body guard it was EVON!!...okay he forgiven} please stay out of the way they walking through here...

SHOW TIME!!

Mind you you know i ..um...vertically challenged...so i tried to stay as close to the front as possible because unlike the other sweaty, jammin down the road patrons...I came to SEE MAS!!

lol..

As the girls came through the crowd....the once that immediately caught my eyes were the Saloon Girls, and the Cow Girl-esque ones...forgive me I dont have the exact names of the sections yet...[but thats jus me....i sometimes have an aversion to Indian/comanche costumes]..

They walked through the crowd and then onto the stage to showcase the costumes...

At which point i Bravely chose to ignore the body guard types {ah shame...sorry Evon) and went up on the side of the stage so my short ass could see everything. SUCCESS!!! [I have pictures too...but in deference to the mas people...i not revealing more than they want to reveal yet...] They're a sneek peek here...

Very Tribe-Like...lol...

soon all the costumes were on stage and the patrons and models were showered confetti style like a real big band launch...

All in all...i think they did a great Job...and I doubt they will have any problem moving any of the sections...

I just wanna know who on the road with them for music...and what kinda special food they serving...and what gonna be in the goody bags, and...well..

When i find out...i guess ill put it here...
